The history of Sunshine Juice Co. is rooted in the visions of local entrepreneurs Erin Little and Meagen DeLong who sought to make the city of Evansville (ranked in 2011 as the Most Obese City in America) a happier and healthier place.
Founded in 2013, Sunshine began as a small juice stand at local farmer’s markets and festivals. Little and DeLong introduced their vision of a cold-pressed juicery to the Evansville community through a Kickstarter campaign. Through the community, Little and DeLong raised enough funds to open Evansville’s original cold-pressed juicery in the loft of a downtown market.
Capitalizing on the company’s success, new owner Chelsi Moore moved Sunshine Juice from its downtown location to its own building in a popular business area on the corner of Virginia St. and Burkhardt Ave. on Evansville’s East Side.
Today, Sunshine Juice Co. is brought to you by co-owners Paul and Kelly Snider, as well as store manager/operator Erin Collier and her dynamic team, who continue Sunshine’s original mission, expanding the menu to include not only juices, but cleanses, smoothies, and healthy snacks and meals
